a plain-language explanation of what Tissande collects, why, and the cookies and similar technologies used on this site.
most of Tissande is designed to work without knowing who you are. sharing a reflection, browsing the archive, or asking the community a question doesn't require a name, an account, or an email address.
two features are the exception. the contact form sends your message straight to our inbox by email — we don't store it in a database. and the "meet another parent" feature is deliberately not anonymous: it asks for your real name, and optionally a LinkedIn link and a short intro, because a small group video gathering only works if people know who they're meeting. that information is stored so our team can review it and put groups together by hand — see our mission and about pages for more on how that works.
this site keeps things simple. we don't run advertising trackers, and we don't currently use analytics of any kind.
Google Fonts — the typefaces on this site are loaded from Google's servers, which can see the IP address of the device requesting them. this only loads if you accept it below; if you decline, the site falls back to a plain system font.
Firebase (Google Cloud) — the community features (reflections, questions, the matching form) are stored and served using Google's Firebase platform. this relies on your browser's local storage rather than tracking cookies, and is necessary for these features to work at all, so it isn't part of the optional consent choices below.
if you're in the EU or UK, you have the right under GDPR to ask what personal data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. since we're a small team, the fastest way to do any of this is simply to email us.

the site and its data are hosted on Google's Firebase platform, which may process data outside your home country as part of Google's global infrastructure.
